Bible verses for when you feel lost
Maybe you're stuck at a crossroads, or just unsure where your life is headed. These verses are for when you can't see the way.
The thought
“I have no idea where I'm going.”
The truth
God promises to guide people who ask, one step at a time.
Four verses for today
1Psalm 32:8
Read in contextI will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you.
God says He'll teach you and watch over you. The guidance comes with His care.
2Proverbs 3:6
Read in contextin all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
The verse says to include God in every part of life. He'll make the path straight, not necessarily short or easy.
3Isaiah 30:21
Read in contextAnd whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: “This is the way. Walk in it.”
It describes a voice behind you saying which way to go. It's a picture of God guiding His people.
4Psalm 119:105
Read in contextYour word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
God's word gives enough light for your next steps, not the whole road.
Verses from the Berean Standard Bible.
A prayer
Lord, I don't know which way to go. Please guide me and keep me from rushing. Help me listen, and give me courage to take the next step. Amen.
